Under the competent and patient guidance of the excavator driver responsible for the demolition work, the guests were allowed to use a long-reach excavator to break off parts of the downstand beams, floors and walls. This offer was accepted with pleasure and some of the guests were able to fulfill a childhood dream.
On the site, which still has to be cleared, the MainTor Quartier will be built including the Winx, Panorama, Porta and Primus towers as well as the Maintor Patio and Palazzi residential buildings.
The owner is Deutsche Immobilien Chancen (DIC), who will be able to offer a mixture of offices, shops and restaurants extending over a total area of 108.000 m². Jürgen Engel, Prof. Christoph Mäkler and Jo Franzke and their offices are responsible for the architecture.
