In the course of a three-month advanced training program leading to an examination for the qualification of certified passive house planner, Ms. Aleksandra Uhlig further improved her knowledge of the special requirements for the planning and construction of passive houses.
More and more owners in the private and state sectors are choosing to have their buildings constructed to the passive house standard. A constantly growing number of municipalities and states now demand this passive standard, so that competent, trained planners are needed to successfully implement these requirements.
Having successfully completed the examination process, Ms. Uhlig is now a certified passive house planner. This additional qualification allows her to apply the PassivhausProjektierungsPaket (PHPP) method. This is a tried and tested calculation method based on European norms and is used to determine the energy parameters of buildings. With PHPP, the calculations required for quality assurance purposes can be carried out in a clear and understandable manner.
Ms. Uhlig studied Civil Engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt and received her diploma in 2000. Since 2012 she has worked at our Mainz office and is a project leader in the areas of structural design and building physics.
We congratulate Ms. Uhlig on her new qualification and wish her continued success in the future – especially in the area of passive house planning.
