The architectural design in the interior courtyard of the museum, from the "Scheidt Kasprusch Architects Association mbH" office, integrates the presentation requirements of the museum, respects the surrounding historical buildings and fulfils all the application requirements for gaining recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The challenge now and until the end of 2014 is the construction of the auger pile foundation planned by KREBS+KIEFER and the waterproof trough construction trench with sheet pile walls and underwater concrete base.
