Ground-breaking ceremony for Skyline Plaza, Frankurt am Main
The realization of this project - which is directly adjacent to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds and has been planned for more than a decade - started with a ground-breaking ceremony on 1st June 2011. By 2013, a newly built shopping and leisure center will be the new focal point of the „Europaviertel“ district.

By 2013, a newly built shopping and leisure center will be the new focal point of the „Europaviertel“ district.
Around 40.000 m² will be available for retail use. A fitness center with an area of 9.000 m² will be included and a congress center offering 17.000 m² will be added at a later date.
According to the project developers Vivico, Frankfurt and ECE, Hamburg, the total cost will be around 360 million EUR.
KREBS+KIEFER has been involved in this project since its earliest stages when it was known as UEC - Urban Entertainment Center and is now carrying out the entire design and authorization planning for the load-bearing structure of the center on behalf of ECE.
