Ground-breaking ceremony for the new open-air pool has taken place - The open-air pool at Nieder-Modauer-Weg in Ober-Ramstadt receives a complete renovation

Thursday, 25.07.2019 - a day on which even in the shade at least 38 degrees were measured. A day on which in many places the only question was whether the all-time heat record in Germany would actually be broken. The responsible persons of the city of Ober-Ramstadt could hardly have chosen a more suitable date to invite to the official ground-breaking ceremony at the open-air swimming pool.

On this Thursday afternoon, there was a spirit of optimism - with the expectation that things will now move forward quickly. For one sentence was almost omnipresent at the official ground-breaking ceremony for the complete renovation of the open-air swimming pool: "What would it be nice to have a swimming pool now?

In future, the total plant is to be 12,400 m² with 1,000 m² water surface. In addition to the technological modernisation, the swimming pool shall be made more attractive for children and young people. For this purpose a diving board (three-metre platform and one-metre diving board) and a toddler area with various attractions will be built. From the catering terrace, parents will have their children in view in the future. In the non-swimmer's area, a wide wave slide will provide family bathing fun. The entire facility will be barrier-free.

The construction management department of KREBS+KIEFER Darmstadt is accompanying this project with its project management department. This department offers qualified and individually tailored project management in project stages 1 to 5 and action areas A to E of the AHO.
