On 23 May 2011, Minister of Science Sabine Kunst (2nd from left) and university governor Laszlo Ungvari (4th from left) ceremonially laid the two foundation stones for the Administration Building II and the student halls of residence on the former heavy machinery construction site of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau.

The 38 million euro Brandenburg University project, which is one of their most important projects, has its own suburban railway connection and was designed by the architect Professor Egger (SEHW Architekten GmbH).
KREBS+KIEFER developed the structural engineering for the project.
