The aim of the restoration work was, and is, to retain the palace ensemble in a manner that befits a monument and to restore it to its original condition as far as possible.
KREBS+KIEFER was involved with assessing the existing building for this complex and highly interesting construction project and to carry out the structural design and the restoration planning, including engineering checks.
Despite the opening of the exhibition in the main building and east wing, there is still work to be done, as there is currently work ongoing and also the static-constructional work for the renovation and strengthening of the west wing are in full swing.
