Opening of Vicco-von-Bülow Gymnasium in Stahnsdorf
On 5th August 2013, in time for the start of the new school year, the Vicco-von-Bülow Gymnasium (grammar school) in Stahnsdorf was officially opened. It was named after Bernhard-Viktor Christoph-Carl von Bülow, called Vicco for short and better known as Loriot. He was an extremely well-known and popular actor, director and caricaturist and showed great cultural commitment.
It is hoped that his linguistic and artistic gifts will act as a model and incentive for the pupils of the new school.

The guests at the opening ceremony included Stahnsdorf’s mayor Bernd Albers, Loriot’s daughter Susann von Bülow and District Administrator Wolfgang Blasig.
The speakers at the ceremony explicitly praised not only the architects Sander.Hofrichter but also KREBS+KIEFER Beratende Ingenieure as excellent planning partners. The project leaders were Dipl.-Ing. Karsten Däumer and Dipl.-Ing. Sven Schneider.
In addition to the structural design for the school building and sports hall, KREBS+KIEFER also provided services in the area of building physics. The sports hall was planned to passive house standards.
