Topping out ceremony for the new Biomedicum building on 14 October 2019

After only 12 months, the topping-out ceremony for the Biomedicum of the University Medical Center at Rostock was celebrated on 14.10.2019 in a festive setting on the construction site.

As is tradition, the foreman of the construction company read out the topping-out speech and the topping-out crown was put on.

During the subsequent tour, the numerous guests were able to convince themselves of the quality of the building shell and the future use of the new teaching and research building.

KREBS+KIEFER successfully provided the planning services for the structural design with the completion of the shell.
