Flood barrier Ladenburg

The newly constructed Ladenburg flood barrier is 30 metres downstream from the road bridge of the L542 between Ilvesheim and Ladenburg. It replaces the original structure from 1931. The flood barrier is a radial gate with solid concrete abutments on the north and south sides of the Neckar Canal.
